THE INTERNATIONAL HORSES - 2012

O'CONNELL STREET
A nine year old Belgian-bred gelding that came to me in July 2011. He feels very careful and has a great brain. In our first show at the Global Champions’ Tour in Chantilly we were fifth in the 1m45 competition and just had one down in Sunday’s Grand Prix. O’Connell Street was consistently placed in Winter 2011 and jumped clear incurring only a time fault in a 1m60 at London Olympia. He jumped very well at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Florida. He is a perfect age, just turning 9 yr old and will be a major part of my string in 2012.

BLUE LOYD
A 12 year old bay gelding by Landor S purchased in November 2011.
Blue Loyd was formerly campaigned at top level by Norwegian rider Nina Braaten, including World Cup classes, Nations' Cups and the European Championships in Madrid.
I have now competed him at quite a few shows and believe he is the best horse I have ever ridden. He competed brilliantly in Wellington, Florida during the winter and I hope we'll become a serious combination in 2012 to help the Irish team’s efforts in the top league Nations’ Cups.

KEC ALLIGATOR ALLEY
A promising Irish Grand Prix horse produced successfully by Sinead Kennedy. This 10 yr-old Aldatus gelding out of a Clover Hill mare is a wonderful athlete and has a super brain. He was a very successful part of my team at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Palm Beach this year.
DA VINCI'S PRIDE
11 year-old son of an Australian thoroughbred.
This horse was sent to me end of March 2012 to gain exposure at the major international shows in Europe this summer. He is super careful, extremely fast and I'm hopeful of plenty of victories at the major shows in the months ahead.

CORAL SPRINGS
8yr old gelding by Ard vdl Douglas out of a Cavalier dam.
Arrived in Karlswood mid April 2012. He has been extremely well produced through the grades and will just take this season before he is ready to jump the big stuff. A fantastic temperament combined with quality and scope - I've no doubt that I've found another class Irish horse.
