The location is unique, as the Paderborn Challenge draws international top riders to the Schützenplatz. The second weekend of September is the date of the traditional 5th leg of the DKB-Riders Tour in the shadow of the old buckeye tree surrounded by a beautiful beer garden.
The program doesn’t leave any wishes unfulfilled. Regulars like Marcus Ehning, who won the Grand Prix of Paderborn in 2016 and 2017, and international championat riders like Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE), Gerco Schröder (NED) and Denis Lynch (IRL) are just as much part of the Paderborn Challenge as riders from the region and youngster in and underneath the saddle.
Visitors are able to enjoy the last rays of summer sunshine during this event, as it is one of the last top international shows in the outdoor season before heading inside for the indoor shows. International jumping classes, a fine shopping area, nice playing areas for the kids and diverse food options make the Paderborn Challenge the ideal trip for the entire family. The 16th edition of the Paderborn Challenge is held from the 6th to 9th of September. Ticket sales start from the second week in July.
