IRON MAN - THE CLEAR ROUND MACHINE!

Iron Man’s clear round streak continues!

So happy with this amazing horse jumping so many good rounds this winter and tonight another double clear in our first CSIO5* Grand Prix to place second.

A brilliant finish to our winter circuit for this special horse.

Huge thanks to everyone who is a part of this success; all my Karlswood Team particularly my main groom Johanna Berg, my right hand man Ross Mhulholland, my Family for all their support and Pat Crean for being such a supportive co owner in this superstar horse.

JOHANNA BERG: WINNER OF THE KAREN GOLDING MEMORIAL GROOM’S AWARD WEF 2025

‘Wow! Thanks so much to WEF and all who organized this special grooms award and in honor of a special lady- Karen Golding.

Johanna Berg my superstar groom has been a part of Karlswood since the end of 2018 and is an integral part of our success. I’m delighted to see her honored for her hard work and dedication.

I recall coming to Wellington to compete in the Nation’s Cup for the first time in 2002 and Karen Golding who was a former top groom herself and was then chief steward was always so helpful and decent to us and it’s very fitting that the grooms award be named in her honor.

TOM WACHMAN ON FLYING FORM

‘Tom Wachman has had impressive results this month including his Double Clear round and 4th Place in the CSI5* Grand Prix of WEF 9 with Tabasco De Toxandria Z as well as jumping 4/0 in his first CSIO5* Longines League of Nations Ocala Nations Cup for Team Ireland to help place fourth. Do It Easy also jumped Double Clear to place 3rd in the CSI4* Grand Prix of WEF 10! Well done to Tom and his team at Coolmore Showjumping!’

END OF WEF 2025 ALREADY!

‘Huge thanks as always to all my karlswood team who put so much effort in all year round but particularly here in Wellington. It’s been a brilliant circuit for us with all our students doing so well and I’m thrilled how my horses have performed throughout the circuit.

We had many top placings over the three months but my own personal highlights were the CSI5* World Cup Grand Prix I won in Ocala with Bentley de Sury as well as runner up in the CSIO5* Grand Prix with Iron man during the Longines League of Nations week.’
