CIAN O’CONNOR RANKED TOP 10 IN THE LONGINES WORLD RANKINGS

‘Absolutely delighted to have entered the Top 10 in the Longines World Rankings for the first time in my career.

IRON MAN PLACED 2ND IN THE PRESTIGIOUS ROLEX CSIO5* GRAND PRIX OF ROME!

‘Piazza Di Sienna in Rome is a truly iconic event and every time I come I just get the feeling that we are so lucky to compete in such a historic venue. I'm absolutely thrilled with all my horses this week, whose consistency earned me the Leading Rider of the CSIO Rome award.

Iron Man really is something very very special. I've been so lucky throughout my career to have had some incredible horses but Iron Man's consistency in big Grand Prix's all over the world in the last few months has been remarkable. Yesterday he jumped two outstanding rounds in the Rolex Grand Prix to place 2nd, his jump off round really felt smooth and within himself. I feel so lucky to have him.’

TWO GOLDEN TICKETS TO THE RDS DUBLIN HORSE SHOW!

‘What a fantastic way to start the Summer Season in Ireland! Ben O’Connor and Million Dollar Baby secured their spot at the RDS Dublin Horse Show 128cm Championships by winning the first Qualifier in the Meadows.

The following week, Karlswood rider Karoline Sloth Kjaer and Jump The Gun won the 7/8yo RDS Dublin Horse Show Qualifier and we look forward to seeing this pair in the Main Arena.’

GREAT WEEK AT CSI5* GCT MADRID FOR TEAM KARLSWOOD!

Great week at GCT Madrid, having Gengis Kann De Londe win the Individual class of the GCL Team Event on friday and place 4th in the CSI5* 1.50m Jump Off Class. Bentley De Sury jumped Double Clear in the CSI5* Grand Prix to place 5th.

Tom Wachman jumped Clear with Tabasco De Toxandria in the GCL Team Event to help the St Tropez Pirates place 3rd as well as placed 11th in the CSI5* Grand Prix. Do It Easy jumped Clear in the CSI5* 1.50m Class on Saturday as well.

We had great results in the CSI1* Grand Prix having Beth Underhill jump Double Clear to place 5th on Pegasus, followed by Rachel Penner aboard Funky Fred in 8th Place and Keira Stoute on K.I Germaine in 9th Place. Alice Wachman jumped fantastic rounds aboard Killarney and Thijssen SR Z in the CSI1* Classes.

GREAT WEEK FOR TEAM KARLSWOOD AT CSIOYR-Jr ZUIDWOLDE

‘It was a great week for Team Karlswood as Alice Wachman jumped Clear to help Team Ireland place 3rd in the CSIOJr Nations Cup of Zuidwolde. Karlswood rider Karoline Sloth Kjaer and the Paseo Farms’ Belvedere jumped Clear in the CSIOYR Nations Cup for Team Denmark.’

THE MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION VISITS KARLSWOOD

Very happy to have been able to welcome Isabelle McCarthy, her family and Pippa the pony to Karlswood as part of the Make A Wish Ireland Foundation Children’s Charity. Well done to Isabelle and Pippa on a great lesson with us at Karlswood.

RACHEL PENNER JUMPING CLEAR IN HER FIRST CSI2* GRAND PRIX!

‘Huge congratualtions to Rachel Penner on her incredible development over the last few months! Rachel and Quick Step jumped their first CSI2* 1.45m Class in Le Touquet for a Clear Round over the fences and jumped their first CSI2* Grand Prix Clear in Canteleu a few weeks later! Well done to Team Paseo and Karlswood coach Michael Kelly!’

‘We are looking forward to getting to know both Kaspar R and Kentucky TN as they join Team Karlswood. Kaspar R did not fail to impress during our first show together as he placed 2nd in the CSIO5* 1.45m Two-Phase class in Rome.’

ANASTASIA NIELSEN AND DARK CHOCOLATE BRILLIANT IN SHANGHAI

‘Anastasia Nielsen and her mount Dark Chocolate jumped two incredible rounds during their CSI5* Debut at the GCT competition in Shanghai! Congratulations to Team Nielsen and Karlswood Coach Cameron Hanley on all your hard work. We are looking forward to following this pair in the coming season!’
